I am a sliver surfer and from other posts u will gather not too clever with computers.
I thought I had renewed with these people on the 5thJuly but it keeps coming up to warn me I only have 7 days left to renew. I tried to get in touch with them and they sent me a free phone number I rang this and it automatically transfers you to another number at 10 p per minute [ didnt mind that] but this second recording is so faint its inaudible. Truly I need to speak to a person not a machine, someone who can talk me through, does anyone have such a number I seem to be going round in circles.

That is weird. When I needed to contact them (and I admit it was a while ago so I may have forgotten details) but e-mail wasn't a problem.

Try their website and see if therre is a tech help facility. Some places allow you to "talk" to some techie via a window.
How did you renew with them? and did they send you anything like a license key number or an email saying your license file was attached.?

Thanks for help, it is now saying that I am covered until 2011, dont ask me what went wrong, last year when I had someone instal we were able to speak to someone, suppose they dont have time now ! but as long as I am covered I am okay with it, if they change their mind will be back for more help.They gave me a Activation code but it took them 2 days to do so after we emailed them.
