Well that's pub/waitressing/waiting hours for evening shifts!! You could sign up with a local job agency for catering temps.  This would give you the flexibility needed with a young daughter - no chance of a boss being unsympathetic when you want the evening off to see your daughter's first nativity play or slightly more religious neutral winter festival dramatic performance! :-)

Sorry if that's not your cup of tea at all, but the hours fit.  Most evening shifts start at 6pm, and with agencies, even if you get home early, you get paid for a minimum of 4 hours! YAY! Good luck! :-)

Try your local hospital, they sometimes have vacancies for staff in the evenings getting patients files etc ready for the next day and filing away the ones used that day.

This job is ideal for you.  They are looking for evening workers around the times you state.  You work from home, and as long as you have broadband and access to the internet, that's all you need.

The pay is ok too.  I'm already doing this.

Good Luck.

Is this company reliable? What is the starting salary? How are you finding it?

Hi Smithy,

Have you thought about contacting your local Supermarket(Sainsbury/Tesco?Asda/Morrisons?) our local one has lots of part time workers, and they work hours to suit them;it's worth looking/ringing them.

I have a friend who does ironing at home. She started doing this when the kids were small and she didn't want to leave them. People drop off and collect or she will collect and deliver for an extra charge. She has so many clients that her sister in law has started her own business form my friends waiting list.

To me she is a lifesaver!
