Does anyone know where I can find UK maps showing places with the same sunrise times joined up (iso - eos lines, or suchlike)? E.g. all the places where sunrise is 07.00, 08.00 or 09.00 on the winter solstice.

I've never heard of such a thing. I think local
geography may make this difficult as hills / mountains would affect the actual appearance of the sun above the artificial horizon.

I would have thought these could be corrected for sea-level. But it must be possible to construct the sort of maps I'm looking for, surely?
Use this, http://www.daylightmap.com/index.php
you can zoom in and out and under options on the right you can set the date and time.
so if you set the time to 04:45am today and zoom in on UK you can see the line of darkness cutting across the country.
R1Geezer - that's the map they have on the wall in the Hilton at Gatwick airport, showing where is light. Interesting - nice to have a source, thanks.

Thank you, R 1 Geezer; that should suit my purpose very well.
