Two questions:

1. There are 32 nations playing in South Africa, each had to submit a squad of 23 players by June 1st. Of these 736 players, how many were registered with clubs in the English Premier League on the final day of the last season?

2. With the exception of England, which countrie(s) were represented most in the Premiership at the end of last season?

1. 23 England Squad plus 94 Rest of World
(i.e. a shade under 1/6th of all World Cup player participants)

Hmm... Don't have the time to check this completely right now, but whoever did this for Wiki has included all clubs that were in the Premiership last season and those for next season as well, so 23 clubs altogether.

In addition, they've kept it up to date, so, for example, John Obi Mikel was in the squad on June 1st, so for the purposes of this question he's in, but Wiki doesn't include him.

More checking needed...

Aha, they've counted in all clubs in England, not just the Premiership. There were 106 people in the June 1st lists who were registered with Premiership clubs on the last day of last season.

And France, Nigeria and the USA each have seven representatives (Well, France has one fewer now)
