Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Hi 3-5 - it really helps us if you put the name of the crossword in the title box, then put the clue and letters in the Details box - it's really hard to read if it's all in the title box.
Are you saying that the straight clue is Small quantities of an ingredient, with the cryptic clue being small quantities of slates upon ruin? It's really hard to tell, sorry!

Well done shaneystar, I thought each dash was a separate letter, confusing to have 2 (even though the letters are given as 10). Glad you have your answer 3-5 (even though the pendants amongst us would say it should be teaspoonsful!)

I endorse boxtops' comments.
You may find it worthwhile trying the AB search facility. Just type in a few words from the clue. In this case it would have thrown up the answers given previously.
