This is not the right topic, but here goes...Before my father-in -law died 24 years ago he gave us a bottle of home-made apricot wine. My question is.Is it safe to drink or should i get his wife, my mother-in -law who is still alive to try it first?

MIL.....!!

I had a bottle of 30 year old cherry Brandy. I kept it for nostalgic reasons. Some numrty came in the house and drank it....

Oh dear...the results were not pleasant..
Pour it down the sink!
It depends on the initial quality, the soundness of the corking and where it has been kept all these years. Probably best to let someone else try it first.
get Molly to try it......
Harsh craft, harsh!
