I love it. It was one of, if not THE, first big music player when mp3 first came on the scene. I still use it as my player of choice.
Agree with Obonio, very good , no viruses no spyware, also has its own jukebox and videos plus internet TV / Radio stations - has quite a few AOL sessions on there you can watch. - you can also use it to watch streaming TV if you get the links, less cumbersome than media player IMHO.

I also love it and use it to listen to the radio, to watch broadcasts of television shows and web cams, and to play CDs and brief video clips. It is easy to use and quite interesting. The providers are from around the world, and some are professional, some are amateurs. You can broadcast on it as well if you download their software and can figure out how it works (rather complex).

I love it to bits. It seems to be quite fast loading also. I'm a little scared of Windows Media Player being Naziware, so it was no choice. Also, the visuals rock: try 'RabidHamster' if you have a good machine.
it is great, as the others have said. Used it for a long time.

However, I use iTunes now. for one, i have an iPod, and for two, its better at organising your stuff than winamp is (imo).
I've had nullsoft's winamp for many years, and as already stated it it less cumbersome than Win Media player.. and less drain on resources. I like the videos you can watch.. and of course the internet tv
I used it until I got Creative PlayCenter free with my sound card. Its a lovely compact piece of sofware, does the job and is free.
I'm with fo3nix on this one.

iTunes is a lot slicker at organising the library. Try G-Force (Soundspectrum.com) for excellent visuals as an add-on.
