I am not sure which topic to put this under,but thought I'd go for "chatterbank" .....

Does any ABer out there know the answer to this question,please?

How many people need to be in a room to have more than a 50% chance of two of them having the same birthday?

But here's the crunch ...

With 23 people at a party, there's a 50% chance.

If there are two parties, in two adjacent houses, with 23 people at both parties ...

... now what are the chances ... ??
Gawd! My head hurts just thinking about it.
I went to a family gathering Sunday and there were 11 of us there and two had same birthday.

someone where I work has got the same birthday as me (although she is younger) and she got married on the same day as OH and I did. Bizarre ....
The two at our gathering were the same age with the same birthday ---TWINS ha ha ha!
