is there any way to search for particular people on answerbank?  For example, if you like the answers someone gives to a number of questions, can you look at all their responses by doing a search for them?

You can do a Google site search. It won't be exactly what you want, but will give you a good starting point. Unfortunately I can't remember the syntax to use. (Though Googling "Answerbank" and "shivvy" will give you some results).
You're right, Lemarchand - very clever. I've just tried it. However, it only found TWO refernces to my 136 answers! (sad I know!).
Wideboy  Just click 'Repeat search with omitted results included' at the bottom of google results page  and you'll get all of them :-)
