A bus poster stating 'There definitely is a God' designed to contradict the atheist bus poster (http://www.atheistbus.co.uk/) attracted more complaints in 2009 than any other advert.

jno, yes, people are easily offended these days, especially the religious as you've rightly pointed out. As far as I'm aware, atheists rarely make formal complaints regarding religion, but perhaps the worm is turning. I do hope so because since you mentioned freedom of speech, it's time the religious stopped expecting it to work only in their favour - and it's time the rest of us started saying 'no'.
