How annoying is it when something goes missing!!!

I just don't understand where it's gone!

I blame having a mass tidy up!

I think I might be going doolally!

it happens to me a lot, it normally turns up when I am not looking for it, normally through some random foraging for something else I have lost
Pens and lighters being the main culprits !
Out loud, say,
"St. Anthony, St. Anthony,
Return what does not belong to thee"
Leave the room and close the door;
Give it 2 minutes and then go back in.........
have you ever done that jack?

and more importantly...did it work?
Yes..............and sometimes.........

I actually believe it just concentrates and refocuses your own eyes/mind.........but who can tell ;o)

If it's a really important item, a prayer to St. Jude (patron saint of lost causes) is supposed to be effecacious !
what makes me laff is wen u lose something and a friend or famiy would ask 'where did u have it last?...................................' well if i knew, then i wouldnt b looking for it!
cleanrrers ... thery messmwith your stuff

yoou cant find antything the next daty
Have you been on the sauce jj? Your usual immaculate spelling's all over the place.
I used to pray to St Jude every night to get someone back, didn't work though lol
only a b it. waqlking down to casino later to win some money, and maybe a few drinks on way foirst.
please St Anthony - show me where ?

let me know if it works.....it does for me.
Casino...A place I dare not enter:-(
Probably the same place all my hairbands go... I live alone For Funks Sake, where do they go?!
Hope your heels arent too high JJ lol x
dont wear hiugh heels dris ... im too tall, i look stiuupid in high heels, like a girafe or something.
I usually struggle to find important things I've previously put away 'in a safe place'

I've done it before :) I always thought it was St Michael though even if I got the wrong guy it has worked sometimes.

Most random example was my first night in New York with my ex. We had split up a few weeks previously but decided to still go. We couldn't change the double bed so ended up sharing the double room we had originally booked.

We had been out and about then got back to the hotel room and went to unlock the cases. My padlock key was on my keyring with all my other keys, flat etc... Couldn't find it anywhere in my bag.

After some panicked searching, phonecalls to the hotel concierge and place we ate and looks and comments from the ex I decided to give in looking and try and put it out of my mind and not let it ruin my holiday mood, the ex had his keys to our flat so that was ok.

Some prayers to Father Michael were said though!

Got up early next morning and headed up the Empire State Building. You have to go through airport type scanners so I went through first and my stuff duly came through the machine...with my keys sat on top of all my stuff!

Gobsmacked!!!! Was seriously wierded out until ex explained (soooo not sheeplishly enough) he had just found them in his pocket.

!!!!!!!

I just tried the St Anthony one, fingers crossed!!! It's not like it's even small though...hmmm....
Mt husband lost £400 in the house. He had been paid in advance for a job, I was out at bingo, an announcement came over the tannoy for me to go to managers office, (this scared me) it turned out it was he asking me for the money Grrrr! I hadn't seen it he thought I'd picked it up by mistake.
I've had the house upside down and its definately not there he said. Even my 15 yr old daughter was accused,
I told him to re-trace his movements from the moment he last saw the money.
He'd been reading the paper earlier & the money was there then - - - It was monday night & the dustmen come early Tuesday, Have you put the bags out I said, Yes, right ok I got the bags and tipped 'em all over the kitchen floor and started to go through the mess, & Yes you've guessed it, there was the envelope with the £400 in it.
Evidently without knowing he picked up the newspaper not seeing the envelope there and put them in the black bag together. If we hadn't have gone through those bags early nx day it would have been on the rubbish tip. How lucky was he?
