I have had a navman f45 for a few days, its working well but i've noticed that after less than a day the battery is flat even tho its not turned on, anybody else have the same problem? Doe's this happen with other sat nav's? thanks in advance.

I've not got one, and I've not checked if this is the case here, but I suspect you are putting it into standby rather than off. If when you turn it on it's ready to use pretty much straight away without having to boot up and get a GPS fix it's only on standby.

Most stuff can be made to turn off properly by holding the power button down for 4-5 seconds.
yes the last answer is right put it into reset to turn it off not in the middle stand by
charge it up on your usb or car charger if you haven't a mains one and it says in the instructions charge once a fortnight even if its not used, the battery will last longer doing that
ps i have a navman mio 50

Thanks for that, it seems to have worked, the user manual supplied is not that good.
