I KNOW we all hate homework questions on here, but I've had a really really crap day and am only just researching the step daughter's homework for her to do when I drag her out of bed in the morning. (Her brother was taken into hospital today and so we've all been running round like loons).

She needs to design a leaflet for an outdoor and water sports centre.

I've looked up the words below and have a german translation. I've used one of those daft translation sites though. Can some kind soul please tell me if I have got them correct, please.

Windet surfen – wind surfing
Berg radelnd – mountain biking
bewässert Fahrenski – water skiing
ski ein – jet skiing
paragliding ein – paragliding
schwimmend – swimming
schaukelt Klettern – rock climbing

Good luck with the homework Barmaid. Hope her brother's going to be OK
Word of warning, translators are often wrong as they do it literally, eg mountain biking (Berg is a mountain etc...). I have it as Geländeradfahren.

Only that I can look things up though :) My german is seriously rusty!

I actually enjoyed doing it, I do miss doing languages, it was what I was studying before i changed to law.
I only speak the 'Scottish version of English' plus some Dog and a bit of Cat.
I've given up trying to speak cat unless it involves food :)

They seem to be getting the hang of "get your furry rump in here now" but I'm still struggling with "no dead things in the house". There is a special spider exemption clause in the latter though.
You going to do the exam too, then Barmaid ?
Well, am I glad my son went to boarding school and I didn't have to do any homework
;o)
