Have you ever said something that came out sounding all wrong, or that you immediately wish you could retract?

I remember a friend over here telling me about a load of ducks he used to keep. They were predominantly kept for food, but he had one he kept as a pet. One day, they were all round his feet, and he decided to grab one and do what he had to do, as he was planning on having duck for his dinner. Unfortunately, the pet duck copped it by accident. I asked what he did, and he shrugged his shoulders and said, "I cooked it. What else could I do?"

I replied, "Did you manage to get it nice and crispy?"

Someone pass the masking tape.....

You think I'm bad... you should meet my nan. The looks we've got from strangers when we've taken her out somewhere....
so you mean just saying something stupid rather than putting your foot in it and getting someone in trouble?
I do that regular on here NoMercy,
