It's a Footie day today, Blackpool v Cardiff on Sky Sports 1 then Inter Milan v Bayern Munich at 1945 on ITV. In between I'm cooking a Free range Chicken from Waitrose for my dinner. Lazy day, as I've been out and done my shopping and errands......

Aren't you a good boy!! I'll join you for the footie if I may, I'll bring the snacks and a can or six of ice colds....what do you like? Lager? Bitter? Cider? Guinness?

In this warm weather mercia I enjoy Ice cold Lager, however if I was going to the Pub it would be Cask Ale as that is what I drink mostly. Bring yourself as a good Beer waitress is essential when footie is on ! :-D

Been invited to a few things but not made up my mind yet. Option are...

Blackpool with some of my oldest friends from home though spent the day with them yesterday and Blackpool on a hot saturday is going to be manic. One of my friends is due in July too so not sure if it will be a good place for her to be as she suffered enough only walking short distances yesterday, especially in the heat.

Go Ape - not doing it as did it last year but said I could take photos of my mates who are.

Picnic in the park with my friend and her mum who just flew over from Spain to see her.

There's also a Transpennine Real Ale Trail pubcrawl that other friends are going on but not fancying that, don't like real ales lol :)

Or....it could be that my friends from back home decide on another day in Manchester. They would win in that case.

Argh....what to do!

okies Redman, I'll bring some German lagers and a couple of pilsners, excellent drinking - I love cask ales too - My brother in law works as a brewer at Theakston's up in Yorkshire - they do some lovely stuff in bottles too!

I've been on some lovely brewery tours at Theakstons.......not that I remember much about them.......

I used to be able to drink like a fish - hollow legs and no hangovers and all that - getting too old now though!!
