Boys and Girls...
and why do celebs call their sprogs stupid names?
this has gone on for years, remember Zowie Bowie
Elijah Blue and Chastity, mother who is Cher
I think the funniest names are in Emmerdale...lol, all of the Dingles have a Biblical name with the girls being Charity and Chastity, I like good strong old fashioned names for boys such as James, Jack Ben <,bias..lol>
for a girl I like, Laura, Sian and I like Kelsey which was also my Mums name, Hannah is nice too

Dydy'n ddim yn anodd cynanu enwau Cymraeg. Mae gen lawer o blant Saesneg enwau Cymraeg, fel Ceri, Sian, Euan, ac yn y blaen.

Matthew and Amelia

Also like Alice, William and Sabina
what do you all think of Sebastian? OH doesnt like it but i love it!

i like it, but apparently its a "posh boy"!!!!!! i like quite traditional names, John, George, that kinda thing
Sorry jb190281, but I understood from a previous post that your first language was Welsh. I have never had any real problem with the pronunciation of 'll' - in fact having listened to some language tapes some Welsh speakers have more problems than me. I have frequently heard it pronounced as 'sh', which I'm sure is incorrect. Anyway, being reliant as I am up here on the written, rather than the spoken word, I can only but persevere.

Hwyl i chi!

mike - welsh is my first language, but having lived in england for the last 7 years, i hardly ever write in welsh so id probably struggle to write something that made sense!!

angel - i like matilda, but id shorten it to tilly?
My mates girls are called Liberty and Maddison....Libby and Maddy is what we call them.
My daughter is called Matilda, but we shorten it to Tilly. I know quite a few people who aren't keen on the name but I like the fact it's traditional, won't go out of fashion and there won't be loads of children called it.
Other names I like are: Freya, Evie and Isla.
I quite like Ralph for a boy but not many people do!
I've got a Freya (and a Tom, a Jack, a Molly and a Daniel).
Christina for a girl, William for a boy.
Phoebe Sunshine for a girl.
Or Matilda.

Boy? Daniel is a classic (and my son's name). But if I had one now, he'd be Joe, Alfie, Archie, Stan or Sidney.
