Haven't bought any yet. In my local Co Op, they £3.00 for a little iddy biddy bag- I ain't paying that!
We've had two lots, one from Morrisons and one from Asda, both on offer at a £1 a bag - and they were lovely, once with lamb on sunday and once cold with salad yesterday, mind you the Missus puts fresh mint in the water when she cooks them - gorgeous!
Is your Wife merciasounds by any chance kingofmercia ?
I'm the lucky one :-)
I live in Jersey - I've got them on my doorstep - fresh as a daisy.

Euromyth!!! - do I win a prize?

Probably deriving from an EU ban on Iodine as a water sterilliser

A quite bit of research (in particular, on the Jersey Royals website) shows that this is complete nonsense and seaweed is indeed still used as potato fertiliser in Jersey. But it's easy for this misinformation to be spread, and it's unfortunate that peoples' perceptions of the EU can be distorted by such misinformation.

Bought loose Jerseys in Morrisons, tasted great. Bought the pre-packed £1 bag in Asda, didn't have much taste at all, and went very dark when cold. Not like Jerseys at all. Agree - Pembrokes and Cornish are very nice.
