The old lady a few doors down is keen on hanging out flags to mark events. This is usually restricted to the St. Georges flag on St Georges day etc.

I notice she's had a few French flags hanging out since the weekend. Is this to mark anything specific? Or shall I call Social Services?

I did think that Chuck, but wondered why a French flag to mark the end of WW2? I know alot of it was fought on French soil and I guess the end of the war marked the liberation of France.

I dont think she's got any French ancestry either. LOL maybe they were on special in Lidls?
