You have a temperature??? That's the most likely reason. Take some paracetemol. Any other symptoms?
Question Author
No, I don`t have a temp, but I do get a slight pain in my chest, right side as if I`ve been hit.
I'm no medical expert, so cannot answer that. Speak to Sqad, he'll be able to give you better advice. He should be around shortly.
Hi carlton......unless you are sweating with the "shivers" it is no big deal.

Sweating and shivering is a different "ball game"
Why Sqad...??
Morning ummm.....night sweats may well indicate the presence of an infective process somewhere in the body, even though the temperature may be normal.
I sometimes wake up soaking wet. Literally wet. Hasn't happened for a while though.
See your doc ummmm
You're wetting the bed ummmm,

Get yourself some Tena and accept that it's because your getting old ;-)
ummmm.....that sounds hormonal.
Why would it be hormonal? Considering I had the implant and didn't have periods.

Bob....hush your gums...!!!

Robinia....bit worried now...
Sorry, I didn't know about your implants or what effects they have...but best mention it to your gp anyway, don't worry.
Ummmm, turn your heating down a bit. That may help ;-)
It was the contraceptive implant....but thinking about it it use to happen before I had it put in and during. It hasn't happened in months though.
Don't talk to me about heating Bob.....lol...went through the whole of winter with none...!!
ummm...don't worry....I wish that I had never mentioned night sweats in my answer to carlton.

Just because you didn't have periods doesn't mean that you don't have female hormones which tend to swing one way and then another during a menstrual cycle.

Look...if you feel well, have no other symptoms, not losing weight and eating well, then your nocturnal symptoms are "no big deal"
Lol....good. Other than that I'm fine.... :-)

Squad, I don`t expect you to see this reply at this time of night , but if you do, I have lost my appetite just recently but will be seeing my GP next week about a report from my oncologist at the hospital, so I`ll mention it to him. Thanks anyway for your help, as always.
hope you get things sorted soon carlton :o)
