Well, I like(d) the fella - not necessarily as PM, but as a Man. And he went even further up in my estimation last night with the manner of his departure. For the first time he featured his adorable cheeky boys - the first time ever. He has always refused to 'use' them before in photocalls & publicity shots - preferring to keep them out of the limelight. Only when it wasn't to any advantage any more politically did he bring them out into the spotlight. My BF described them as "quite cute, considering they are the Devil's Spawn" - I'm not speaking to him now, even though it was a tongue-in-cheek comment.

He is a lovely family man and those boys are ace. I also like Sarah tremendously. And well done David Cameron for paying (an albeit small) tribute to the man's dedication over the years.

Despite being a Gordy-man-fan, I do think the Cons/Lob-Dem coalition could be a good thing. They should make a good team Cam & Clegg, but I hardly think tambo that Cam's first PM speech was "off the cuff" - I bet he'd had that in draft for months!! I think Gord's was written by himself.

Anyway - onward & upward & let's hope these two don't fluff up.

I agree with Salla about the Speeches. Cameron is very good at presenting himself to the media. Gordon just isn't. I think, like Salla, that the reverse is true.

Agree entirely with your sentiments salla as I have been a Labour voter all my life.
Although disappointed Labour are no longer in Power I just hope this Coalition Govt deliver over the next 5 years. Good luck to G.Brown and his family on his retirement.
