I'm having trouble printing jpegs straight to the printer without resizing using powerpoint/word. I only get maybe half the picture, which takes an A4 sheet. I'm using Windows 2000, on a Compaq PC to a HP printer. Have tried other printers but no change

Do you need to print them from Word? (Are you adding text?)

If not, you can print them without inserting the image into another program : just print them straight from whichever program loads when you double click on the image itself.
e.g. Windows' Picture and Fax Viewer, Photoshop, Irfanview etc.
... but whatever application you use you need to specify that the picture fits the sheet of paper.
You appear to be printing a picture larger than A4 onto that size of paper without scaling it to fit.

Thanks. I've tried to 'open with' word, but it just comes through as a lot of garbled text. Currently opening with internet explorer.

Resizing isn't given as an option - any ideas?

Sorry - also, when I print straight from the image, that's when the probelm occurs
