We have booked with a well known travel agent but when we went online to check our booking to Thailand we have found they have actually changed our return date from the original booking but not as yet notified us. we travel in June. Can they do this?

we have paid for the extra hotel nights, the airport parking, the airport hotel, private taxi transfer return to the airport, some of which we cannot get refunded.

we also upgraded on the flights and had pre booked our seats, but they have moved us to seats that are rated as the worst on the plane as they have no recline!

I actually feel like saying i don't want to continue with the holiday and want complete refund, can i do this? not sure how i check my rights before having a go.

I have written confirmation of our original dates.

Any advice would be appreciated

It will be in the small print in the booking. I'd go in tomorrow and throw a wobbly, nicely of course, but refuse to go away. Let a nice queue build up. Concentrates the mind!
When you say they changed your return dates...do you mean they've shortened your holiday or lengthened it? Or have they just simply changed the flight time?

They've actually shortened the number of days of the holiday. If we hadn't checked for ourselves we wouldn't have known. i wonder when we would've been informed.
Are you sure you didn't put the wrong date in?
So your holiday is now short by how many?

What I'm trying to get it have they shortened the flight times by a few hours thus making it a day earlier you returned or by days?

If you've booked say a 14 day holiday, you should get a 14 day holiday, unless some of that time is flight times. If that's the case there's unfortunately nothing you can do, all flight times are subject to change and you'll find that this will be stated on your booking terms & conditions.

If however, like i said your holiday is days shorter then I do think you should be entitled to a refund or at the very least a date change. Please double check your booking confirmation for the dates.
