After my post the other week I am still none the wiser albeit a bit more the confused and all kinds of other really annoying emotions...

Sooo I am after tales of you happy ever afters and all that stuff (come on, there must be some...), give me some hope haha :)

Have you ever met someone in random or whirlwind circumstances when you were least expecting it, are you happy in your relationship?

Aww that's good :)

I know, I know, I am being a chicken lol :) I wouldn't before the weekend seeing as he is still going but going to try and grow a pair (so the wrong phrase for this post!) and maybe go for it next week.

I would actually be very surprised if nothing is let slip this weekend, esp as the girl he might like who is now driving him up there and going on the walk is quite up for something to happen between me and him as she knows how much I like him...uh oh!

I wish I could be happy just to be his friend but there is just waaay to much of that chemical malkarky and such flying around (well, for me anyway) for that, at least for now.

Hmmm.....
Hi Jenna

I didn't see your original post so I don't know what is happening. But yes I met someone in random circumstances and yes I am now extraordinarily happy - he has changed my life.

I had been internet dating for a few years. After a number of very unsuccessful, unsatisfying and quite upsetting relationships I logged on and cancelled my internet dating subscription being utterley fed up with the whole dating scene and resolving to remain single. A picture of a really good looking guy flashed up on the screen as the current people online and being a bit pissed I winked at him. Strangely, he winked back. We started talking (although I had cancelled the subscription I still had a few days left til the end of the month) and continued doing so. We met and found we had so much in common. We kept in touch. I moved in in October and officially in January (having taken the step to rent out my own house). He is a really lovely guy who came into my life when I had given up hope of ever meeting anyone. I get on fantastically with his children, my parents love him and he makes getting up in the morning worthwhile (and staying in bed in the morning even more so!)!

So that's my happy ever after! I'm not sure what is happening with you, but I say go for it and wish you every success.

Awwww :) I'm so happy for you knowing bits about some of the crap you've had in the past.

This was my original post.

I'm just ruddy well confused about the whole thing, things seem so positive then something just sends me back into "what the hell is going on" territory.

I do worry that by being brave and telling him that I'm risking losing a lovely lovely guy as a friend if I can get passed the whole attraction thing.
