It's not, though it's absolutely correct.

Anyway, what precisely do you mean by "won't launch off the desktop"? Do you mean that you click the icon and nothing happens?

Yes, never had itunes on this computer, had xp with sp3, never any problems, go to click on icon on new laptop with vista, and nothing happens, uninstalled it and re downloaded it, and the same happens, nothing ??

Did you have your old PC set up so that a single click launched icons? The default for all versions of Windows is that you need to double-click icons...
