It will probably be on U tube tomorrow
Pretty staid and boring really. Though I was impressed by Nick Clegg - he was the only one who pulled off a sincere act of sincerity.
"A sincere act" ... Could that be an oxymoron? ;-)
Could well be ;-)
lol
no, you did yourself a favour ...... whole lot of them labour ect are a joke. Not going to vote this year, same as last year and yr before
I am morally obliged to - the sufragettes suffered and died so that I could vote. And our good old boys & girls in the Forces suffered and died so that we could have democracy. So I have to....
The general opinion on the radio this morning is that David Cameron was at a disadvantage because he was in the middle, Nick Clegg acquitted himself well, but that the overall winner was "none of the above".
At a disadvantage because he was "in the middle"?!!!! Is someone making a joke, or is that a pretty pathetic excuse?!!!

That's a sincere observation, Salla.
I always vote, but for one of the smaller parties. It will be the Greens this time.
Ah - a joke. And Gordon was to the 'left', of course.
Well, simple reason I suppose is why I dont vote - You don't hardly hear anything about labour,Conserv ect until about this time of year when they want to get the most votes & to me, that's wrong? Also, MPs have been a disgrace in the past 6 months or so and not a single person deserves to get a vote ?
I don't think it was meant to be a joke, it was meant to be that DC was standing at the middle podium and was disadvantaged. I'd have thought the centre was a position of strength myself - you can view the field, as it were. I only saw a few minutes so the comments are not my own!
I must admit I got bored and switched over to Outnumbered - far more entertaining!
Ditto sala - those kids are brilliant. I work with a community youth theatre in my spare time and each week I find myself wondering whether those two actually have to learn the script, or whether the writers just give them the concept and they say what they like as long as they get the punchlines in. Last night was a good 'un.
I read that there is a 'loose script' for the child actors - but they are allowed to improvise a lot of the time. I think you can tell that - it's why they come across as so natural. I love all 3 of them - particularly Ben and Karen - the stuff they come out with is so random and funny - and true !!
That sounds right salla - the child logic shines through! (perhaps they'd be better on the debating table than G and D and N....we digress!)
In the debate btween prospective Chancellors Vince Cable won the public vote. Tories and Labour claimed he was at an advantage because he was in the middle. So it seems a bit odd now to argue David Cameron was at a disavantage this because he was in the middle.
I think Liberals do have an advantage in these debates though because they can say 'look how these two squabble' and they can criticise current and past governments (Blaire/Brown, Tory sleaze, Thatcher, Callaghan's Winter of Discontent) knowing they have no record of their own that can be criticised.
