Just wondering, at the bottom of a lottery ticket there is a section that says 'fill the box to void the ticket'.
Does anyone know why this box is there, you cannot imagine voiding the ticket if you have just bought it.

When we sell the ticket sometimes the customer has messed up and the ticket is not what they intended so the ticket is voided by the vendor
