17 down. Clue: In an excited way when dealing with notes (7). I have: A?I?A?O. The third letter is an I for India. It has to be AGITATO or ANIMATO but various definitions I have looked at are quite ambiguous with ANIMATO as just about favourite. Advice please.

I would go for Agitato.
