There is a small area on the left side of my back where I feel a strange tingling sensation.  It is not uncomfortable or painful, but it just feels strange.  I started feeling it about 2 weeks ago.  I was wondering if anyone has experienced or heard of this type of thing before?

I have it too!! Its on the left side of my back, around half way down. Doesn't hurt either but really annoys me! Not sure what it is though, so I'd like to know too!! (sorry Newtron for sharing your question!!)
Oh, this is wierd - l have that in exactly the same place.  Honest.  Hope someone can post a remedy soon!

Okay, I have it too!!! LOL!  It's like a tingling sensation right in the space between your shoulder blade?  I think it's nothing but it does feel weird.

It's probably a bit of strain or twist in your spine through lifting something heavy, or sitting incorrectly in front of a computer for a long time!

Try adjusting your posture, seat height etc, and get up and move about regularly. If it persists, you might want to ask a chiropractor or similar.

I have the same problem which has also travelled to my left shoulder and along my shoulder blade, it get dizzy spells with it to. I think its stress on the muscles as I sit a lot for my job and have to twist and turn a lot. I have done loads of looking on the internet and it all seems to come back to the same thing. I now have to stand at work all day to get relief, but then I ache like hell when I get home. I've come to the conclusion that maybe I need to do more regular exercise and strengthen my back muscles up. The young people don't seem to suffer as much as I do (I am 55). Hope this helps a bit.

Strangely, I have this sensation too.It comes and goes and there seems to be no paticular pattern to it at all. I have mentioned it to my GP who took lots of blood samples to rule out various nasties- get my results next week. Mine seems to be below the shoulder blade- I suggested to my GP that it may be related to some gastric discomfort that I had as back pain/discomfort can be related to a gastric ulcer, but she was unsure-hence the bloods. Will try and keep you posted
