All power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely

I joined the AB community because it appeared to provide a mix of informed opinion, honest banter and downright abuse. I took a view that I would not engage in personal abuse, nor would I engage in any thread being promoted by a likely troll. My personal mission has been to contribute to many threads through humour (groaning jokes) and lateral and provocotive thinking.
I have lately come to the opinion that Ed and cohorts exercise power that cannot be challenged and is often arbitrary. With regret I will seek a safe haven elsewhere and will return to AB only when NOK is restored. I have no particular affinity with NOK but feel banning is a great injustive here. Goodbye and goodnight.
