As I relatively new to AB could somebody please explain why some questions at the very start are
highlighted and seem to be permanently the first question in that section (like chatter-bank today is from Waterboatman) Also I keep seeing references to ''Trolls'' what are they/them? ☺

The highlight at the top is known as a "Sticky" and is awarded by the Ed for any thread he thinks is popular and getting loads of posts. Ed frequently awards himself a sticky to promote his famous polls.
