Sorry if it has, I didn't see it.
I want to know what you lot out there consider to be the best artwork, picture on a CD cover?
I have wracked my brains and I still can't decide!
Any thoughts?

Pink Floyds album covers are great works of art! My favourite album covers have always been Dark Side Of The Moon (the prism) and Meddle (the ear in the water).

I was actually going to say Dark side of the moon when i read your question, but i don't think it's a case of best, rather than most recognisable.

Packaging to Lemon Jelly albums are pretty good. They're easily identifiable as being of the Jelly (well airside)

...the artwork on cd's just dont look as good as the album covers on good old vinyl...bah humbug!..I'll get me zimmer frame...

ah but lots of albums these days come in fancy packaging and some (eg lemon jelly) are basically just reduced size vinyl covers
