Should I delete Temp files on my laptop as well a a disc clean up once in a while ? I have Windows 7. Also my router is connected to my desktop upstairs and my laptop doesn't always work in other rooms in the house. Can I boost it somehow ? It seems to work better in the mornings ! I bought a G Router but it isnt much stronger than my old Speedtouch router. I have AOL by the way and Windows XP on my desktop.

Yep ..
If you have successfully booted to desktop, you can delete everything/anything that will delete in Windows/Temp, C/Temp, User Name/Local Settings/Temp (This is for XP, Windows7 similar) Some files may be in use and will not delete (get a delete error) Leave them.
AOL is like a virus .. Don't know how you live with it.
always a good idea, if you do a lot of surfing on the net its always advisable to do it on a regular basis..
A defrag and chkdsk /r once a month is also good housekeeping.
