My mum has a new Dell laptop with Windows 7 and used IE 8. In spite of always closing her browser, every time she turns on her machine and opens IE, she gets a message saying her last session closed unexpectedly and does she want the page she was on restored.

This is more annoying then anything else - can anyone suggest how to get rid of this message? Thanks.

it's a bug in the crash recovery of IE8, you can turn it off by clicking on the Tools menu, then Internet Options click on the Advanced tab and then under the Browsing section uncheck the Crash Recovery feature.

or just use firefox, it's far less buggy than IE.
I find Google Chrome by far the best and quickest browser.
