Adobe upgrade on Firefox

Adobe is offering me an upgrade version, my browser is Firefox which says I must give permission for it to download it. I amm new to Firefox, Explorer just let you download the upgrade. Can anyone tell the steps to take in order to allow the download please. Thanks in advance.

I use Firefox all the time and am not sure what problem you have - what options are you given? Are you not getting allow it / block it?
Has it put up a yellow bar near the top asking you to click on it? If so, go ahead. Adobe is totally trustworthy.

Thank you both for replying. There is no yellow bar that I can see and no option to allow or block.
I haven't had any problems with any updates, so what are the circumstances that are producing this impasse?
Must be the Firewall warning .. not Firefox. I have never seen that type of warning from Firefox. Just ok it! You really need the latest version .. It's an important security one.
Other way is to open the program and find the update button! Adobe Reader is in Help/Check for updates.
