for how long after a vasectomy can a man be expected to feel pain / discomfort? my hub is THINKING of h.aving one done but is self employed and thus can't be off too long. thanks in advance

lol.. compared to childbirth.... you men really suffer ;o)
My OH is complete wimp but he had vasectomy 20 years ago after our 3rd child. He was fine within a couple of days but fairly hacked off (!) when I had to have a hystectomy a couple of years later. ( still we could have had two more children in that time with our track record)
in fairness to the guys though, childbirth is a natural process, severing your vas deferens isnt! ;o
the worst bit 4 me was the injection, i had no bruising no swelling and was out in the garden in the afternoon. never regreted having it done(nor does my wife) nudge nudge wink wink
