How can I remove vynil clicks from audacity recording

When they are in a PC file they are not really specifically vinyl clicks any more.

Can you not use Audacity or some other audio application to change the waveform to flat/silence at the relevant points, and then save the file (under a different name) ?
In Nero there is a facility called a "declicker" which does this and I thought there was similar in Audacity - have you checked the on line help?
The Audacity software allows you to listen to and visually edit a track waveform. The clicks are easily spotted and are dead easy to remove. It's all in the manual. Have a look at...
