I have just changed to a samsung phone, and the noise that this makes when I send a nice quiet text message is really annoying. I don't want to switch the phone to silent, so would be grateful if anyone can help.
Many thanks.

I think you can take off 'message sent' alert tone. Try in message settings.

If not...when OH wakes up I'll ask him. He has a samsung.

What a quick response. Thankyou. I've had a search, but can't find out how to do that, but I'll have another go. Make sure OH has a cup of tea before you ask him/her. Especially if you saw the New Year in :-)

Apologies to HIM. You already said he was a HE. Sorry.

Thanks,magicmerlin for your answer, too.
I couldn't switch it off on my old nokia, either, but it wasn't quite so loud. I suppose I shall just have to get used to it.:-)
