throw up old times and memories. I use to like Thin Lizzy. Just looking through You Tube at old album covers of various artists/ albums from the 70s! This was a nice track from TL !

funny you put this thread up i have been sorting out some old cassettes.ths afternoon i had jimi hendrix , supertramp,jackie lynton, etc on .. tonight some irish singer i don't know the name of and an old scottish songs tape. at the moment i have the spinners on.

some of the tapes have not been touched or played for over 20 years. put some in the bin this morning .sorting the good ones out.
most of the ones that i like i have bought on cd. but odd ones like the jackie lynton album have never been released on cd so have made a back up copy.

Dont you find theres some stuff you just cant listen to any more, you've moved on, well obviously! And some you still appreciate,loved Lindisfarne. Tapes!! Sure I've got a box of them somewhere! I use to have a little tape recorder with one of those counter dials so you knew where a track was on it! lol!
think i have a Lindisfarne cd used to like fog on the tyne , have that many cd's i can't remember what i have got

"Fog on the Tyne" is one of my all-time favourite albums. The remastered version is stunning.
The Spinners (in America Motown or Detroit) are one of my all time favourite bands!!
