theres plenty round here, I shouldn't expect them up a culdisac just yet though as they are a bit busy keeping the A roads & motorways open

They can't get through because of all the idiots who don't know how to drive in slippery conditions going out in stupid little cars and blocking all the roads.

I've posted a similar comment in another thread, but I'll do it again...

Snow ploughs (plows?) and gritters are providsed by the council which is funded by our taxes. If we want gritters 24/7 then that'll come with a hefty tax increase. As selfish as this may sound I'd much rather spend a few weeks slipping and sliding than a decrease in my already poxy wage each month. We really can't have it both ways.
