Christmas Turkeys very expensive, £16 to feed four! Supermarket prices up to £50! how can people afford this, I know it is Christmas and a "one off" but this is exhorbitant! I bet the vegeterians are having a good laugh!!

It's realistic pricing. Chickens at 3 for a tenner are artificially cheap, it's not so long ago that chicken was a luxury for a special occasion.
We've all been buying food stupidly cheap over the last few years. It can't continue.

I paid £15 for a butterball.

And it feeds 8 people. Hopefully.
I bought a fresh turkey (3.84kgs) for eu14.94. I think that's a pretty good deal.
I appreciate we are all different. There is no way I would spend £50 on any meat. Some familys have to buy food for a week for that. Although I am not short of money these days, I will never forget what is was like to be waiting for payday
