that used to be my local. Now I now I don't go as much as I used to but it has recently changed hands, new landlord. The shocking thing was CCTV inside the pub. What The Funicular is that about? I will not be going back. You can understand it in the street or in a night club but in your local!

Having had a pub though it was just such a surprise and when I asked them why they said "there was a bit of trouble outside a couple of weeks ago". I can really understand it in town centres and nightclubs but in a little back street boozer!

Yes tony. I'll stick to dancing on my own table now! Night love. xx

we have cctv in the pub, it helps if there is trouble we can go back and view it see who started it etc as you'll always have conflicting viewpoints. Also its supposed to be a deterrant against drug taking and staff theiving!

however in practise all it has done for us is give the laziest barman in the world yet another excuse to to nothing grrrrrrrr
I think CCTV in a pub is a good thing......after all if it wasn't for CCTV Steve Gerrard wouldn't have been shown to be as innocent as he obviously was........
lol....
Morning Jan - just think of it as another chance for your adoring public to view you !

Hi peri. Yeh I did give em a bit of a flash last night!
Well there you go then - its paid for itself already.
I stopped going into my local when they brought in a rule banning the wearing of headgear. I'm not taking my flat cap off in public for anyone.

Very true. I'm sure he will save that bit for ever. Seriously though, I can understand it in a town centre pub or a nightclub but this is a little back street pub with no history of trouble. I just think it's going a bit too far.
