I need help here, last year i posted a parcel of Christmas gifts to Wales, I posted about the 10th of December. Every day i rang, have the gifts arrived. On the 20th I rang the post office they said it is not missing until 15 days have passed after due delivery this meant 25th of December. with the holiday we were now in the new year. This year I decided to send recorded delivery posted Monday 1st class and still has not arrived. Post office noti nterested until 15 days have elapsed. No I did not receive any compensensation last year and I probably wont this year either. So how do they loose things or is the post office full of thieves

The parcel this year was to Borehamwood in Hertfordshire. I have fsmily all over the country.
if your parcel was sent recorded delivery you would have got a receipt. That receipt should have a 13 character reference, if it has go on the Royal Mail website and click on track & trace and enter the reference. That should give you the latest position on the parcel.
