We are advised to eat at least five pieces of fruit a day, but what constitutes a piece...there's no way I'm going to eat five apples a day or similar? Ta Muchly.

5 different items of fruit or veg, and that generally means a handful sized portion x 5
In tesco or asda they say a portion is about a handful

1. Suck the lemon from your G & T

2. Eat Fruit and Nut chocolate

3. Have tomato ketchup (tomato is a fruit, blah blah) *

4. Instead of coke with your burger, have a Banana Shake

5. Buy your partner some strawberry body licky stuff

There ... I think that does it.

* I know, I know ... ketchup is gross.

Ha ha Jane.

A glass of fruit juice counts as one of your five a day.

Five apples a day would only count as one a day as the five portions need to be different.
if you have a glass of juice it would have to be the good "not from concentrate" stuff.
Does a chocolate orange count as one?
I purse my lips & blow a raspberry, Look in the mirror & see a prune, Stand about looking like a lemon,Some days I have a peach of a day, and I'm not even going to mention the banana.
