Following the thread in media and tv about last nights X Factor, I can't help thinking Stacey will have problems doing the interview circuit, she has a lovely voice and is pleasing to watch, but I keep thinkiing of the late Bernie Winters when I hear her speak, normally when they go 'out' at this stage they are on GMTV the following Monday/Tuesday, I am not saying Stacey will go out, but if she wins, surely someone will have to teach her the art of media interviews?
This is probably shyness on her part, but I can't help thinking of dear old Bernie when I hear her!

Who's Bernie Winters?

I did mention that Stacey would be Sugar in an interview. Unless you like watching someone giggling.

She has problems looking directly at the camera when she is singing let alone talking, if you notice the stage direction for all the other contestants involves alot of playing to the TV audience, but not her, like Simon commented a few weeks ago, she doesn't move!!!

Hi bobbi bet you didn't know this. Many and I mean many approx 35 years ago .I used to live near cockfosters and Bernie Winters lived on the main Cockfosters road North London One evening the sheep from the farm broke out andheaded for the gardens Bernie Winters included and made a right mess. There were landroversall over picking the sheep up.Anyway he sued the farmer,Then a short while after not the dulux dog he had but another one got out and killed some sheep so that was another episode and court case. This is a true story ,You just brought this back to me when you mentioned his name. And I also remember I nicked one of his geraniums plants from the end of his drive after walking home from the tube station after seeing a show up London and that was Shirley Bassey.
