I watched a program on E4 last night called Britain's 100 top TV adverts, it showed all the usual old ads
but there was an advert back in the 80s I think that everybody at the time was talking about, it was a bloke sitting in a pub wearing seafarers wet weather gear saying ''i've never known a night like it & I'm
not looking forward to the journey home, the picture then showed him in a rowing boat on the park lake in a gale, what was this advert for ? why did the program not show it as it was the best and funniest ad around at the time ? and more to the point where can I see / get a copy of this ad now ?

Yes you would, but I have been looking for it for months with no joy yet. If I do find it I will post an update here.
