just worked fine for me using Firefox..
Question Author
whats firefox and how do i get it
Mozilla Firefox, alternative web browser to IE.

Though I just tried eBay in IE and it worked too. I can search, get results and view product pages, both at eBay.co.uk and eBay.com.

Not sure why you can't if you can view other pages...?
I use ebay in IE...no probs...
Might be worth going onto Internet explorer, Tools, internet options, Delete and clearing the cache by clearing cookies, temp files, etc.
Then sign out of IE, sign back in and log back into ebay.
Works for me
This sounds very similar to the problem I posted yesterday. I couldn't get into Wordpress.com although all other websites worked fine. I posted a question on here and resolved the issue by speaking to my service provider. Their tech support guided me to finding the address of my router which I punched into the address-bar of my browser. I made a small change and - hey presto - it works perfectly. The MTU values needed to be increased a little. I posted the following:

Problem solved - the MTU values in my router were set too low and for some reason the website started to refuse to unscramble the information. I've now set the values about 50 units higher and everything works perfectly. Thanks to ZEN my broadband supplier - they have the best tech support department I've ever dealt with - and I don't have shares in the company

Suggest you have a word with tech support for your broadband supplier and they should be able to talk you through the problem - and it could well prove to be the same problem I encountered.

good luck
