I have a fairly large collection of Pre recorded VHS Videos that I would like to back-up onto DVD.
Does anybody have a magic wand,or access to an Oracle so that I can do it.
All the software or video grabbers I have found so far will only allow you to back up your own recordings and not shop bought features.
Please Help.

I did mine with a dvd recorder that I bought from comet.
One scart from VCR to DVDR another from DVDR to TV.

Press play on the VCR and Rec on the DVDR and Bob's yer aunties close friend!
Some video tapes have copy protection built into their signal. This will stop even a dvd recorder copying them. Try Hauppauge external video capture device. Usually 20-30 from pc World. You can connect a vhs video to the device and it connects to pc via usb.
