I am using AOL on my office size computer in the bedroom upstairs and want to buy a laptop to use in the TV room downstairs, I am fed up running up the stairs all the time to use the PC. I am not technical at all - I understand I have to load a new AOL disc but does it matter if it isn't the same version as the one I already have? I probably have my original AOL disc somewhere, would it be best to use that ?? Does it load and work immediately and do I have to contact AOL at all? I find AOL quite useless when ringing them about technical queries - that is why I am asking YOU !! Thanks all. By the way where can I get an AOL disc if I need to get a new one ?

Hi You can load the AOL disc you have, but you have not mentioned if you have WI Fi or not, or how you intend to connect to the internet as if there are any issues it will be about what connection you use.

I just want a basic laptop, to use for the internet. I'm not bothered about music, Wi Fi etc. Obviously I want to pay on the same bill as the AOL I already have. Is there a special way of loading so I can use AOL on two computers in the same house ?
