On this show yesterday they said that 'SKY' had issued a statement saying that in order for your plamsa/lcd tv to be fully future HD ready it must have an HDMI socket in the back - does this mean that sky boxes and consoles etc etc must also have this same socket for the HDMI cable ? If so,as well as an expensive telly you also have go get a new sky box !!!

Yes, sky are going to launch a new HD box, so you will have to go and buy a new one!!!!

Sky Engineers are due to get their training for HD round about September 2005, so product launch will be around that time
