He was called Jarvis and he was a bit pervy but i can't remember an actual catchphrase

"That's you that is!" ...

Yes and 'That's your mum that is...'
that skoda there, thats your car that is, thats your car and u have to be seen in it, in fact, your car has heated windows at the back it does, for keeping your hands warm pushing it! thats what u have to do that is!

- You know when you're in a field and you tread in a cow pat and you immediately move your other foot only to step in another cow pat?

- So I'm essentially standing in two cow pats.

- Yes - that's your new pair of trainers that is.

sorry folks. Thats you that is etc are the two old professors from 'history today'. different characters altogether
i can picture the character.he was a pervert into rent boys maybe ? i seem to recall he had 1 black finger nail too !

"Uuuuuuooohhh God!" (in a very smooth but pervy manner). An example would be...

"Hello young girl. Oh? Oh you're a boy? Uuuuuuooohhh God!"

And wasn't this from The Mary Whitehouse Experience?

It was indeed from the MW Exp and his catchphrase was "...that would be terrible!" after suggesting something lewd.  Always said with a lecherous grin.  Oh, how I loved Rob Newman.  Finally caught him live last year and he has short hair and is all political now, it's just not the same...*sigh*
I thought Jarvis was only in Newman & Baddiel in Pieces.
'You know what they say? Stoke-on-Trent...bent!' :)
